As an operator in Nebraska, this bill is pointless. The operators who are doing it the legal, correct way, will be the ones who are hit with this horrible idea. Where as, the illegal operators will not. And that is the ones they are trying to target. We have to get our operating authority through the Public Service Commission. When an illegal operator is reported to them, nothing ever comes of it. As they only have two inspectors/enforcers to cover the entire state. We see that if this bill passes, it will be the nail in the coffin to start shutting down the legal operators due to yet more Bill's to pay. Possible insurance going up. And adding a second person to each reservation to act as the booze cop. Causing reservation prices to go up. Making it unaffordable for the general public. This is now the third year they have tried to do this. Thankfully, it has never made it far enough for floor discusion.
