San Diego GCLA Meeting Packed With Info

The next Greater California Livery Association (GCLA) meeting will be held Thursday, June 13 at Green Flash Brewing Co. in San Diego, and is scheduled to run from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Tickets are $40 for GCLA members, and $50 for non-members if purchased piror to the event ($50/$60 at door).

There will be a presentation by Marc Nichols of the Ground Transporation System Unit at the San Diego International Airport, where he will provide an update on the current state of the airport and new developments as relates to livery operators.

Also included will be a major new powerpoint presentation with pictures and maps about changes coming Sept. 1 to TNC/livery operations at LAX. This is information you won't want to miss.

Mark Stewart will provide a legislative team update from Los Angeles International Airport, as well as proposed 2019 Legislation-SB 625 regarding passengers smoking or ingesting any cannabis product in commercial vehicles and proposed 2019 Legislation-AB 5 regarding clarification on the Supreme Court ruling of the Dynamex case of employees and independent contractors by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzales.

In addition, there will also be an announcement of special pricing available to members on the 2019 Volvo S90 Livery sedan.
