GCLA Readies Three Spring Member Meetings

LOS ANGELES --- The industry's largest state association representing operators in the second longest state (behind Alaska) is coming to members in three regions starting next week.

As of today, the Greater California Livery Association reports 260 members.

The Spring schedule kicks off at the Calmere Estate Winery in Napa on Thursday, April 25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Northern California operators, and any wishing to travel from afar, will be able to view new chauffeured vehicle models while hearing updates on the GCLA's legislative and regulatory efforts, including ground transportation developments at San Francisco International Airport.

The host of the event is board director Thomas Buck, President and CEO, Beau Wine Tours in Napa and Sonoma. The official meeting sponsor is BMW, and other sponsors include Grech Motors, First Class Customs, TEAM Chevrolet/Cadillac division of Del Grande Dealer Group, Napa Ford Lincoln, and Beau.

From Napa, the GCLA will head down south on Tuesday, May 14 to the Proud Bird food bazaar and meeting venue near the Los Angeles International Airport. Details of the Southern California Operator meeting are still to be announced, but the 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. event will include vehicles displays and association updates.

One month later, San Diego operators will gather for a GCLA meeting on Thursday, June 13, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Phil's BBQ. Details coming.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 10: Southern California Operator meeting, Proud Bird, Los Angeles.

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3: GCLA Annual Meeting & Holiday Party, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., TBD.
