LAS VEGAS, Nev. — To thrive in a market where TNCs make people think a ride always has to be cheap, you have to think ahead and do what they aren't already doing.

Charlie Grimm of BAC Transportation; Stacey Glazier of Fleet Transportation; and Sam Rubin of Four Seasons Concierge will present the session, "Increase Your Market Share By Creating Unique Streams Of Revenue" on Wednesday, March 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. at the International LCT Show at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

It’s time to distinguish yourself from your competitors. You can take plenty of approaches that will help keep your vehicles moving and your profit margin soaring, from upscale cookie deliveries to working with non-profits in exchange for advertising to creating shuttle service opportunities.

“Luxury transportation companies know in order to survive in our industry with the popularity of TNCs and the ebb and flow of business travelers, you have to continue to diversify and find new ways of ensuring your employees are busy, your vehicles are moving, and sales are coming in,” Rubin said.

“Most think a few Facebook ads or a print ad in a local publication can fill that void. However, those all cost money. What if you could learn ways to get free marketing and still provide income revenue for either your company or employees — basically allowing others to pay you for your marketing efforts? If this sounds interesting to you, then you don't want to miss this session.”

He hopes operators who attend will discover new ways to expand and grow their businesses to minimize the effects of TNCs and a volatile economy. Using some of the tactics he’ll discuss has helped his company triple its revenue ($512,000 to $1.6 million+) in a year. “While others are struggling...we are thriving!”

Very interesting topic!!!!!! We dont compare our service to these tnc apps. We have never felt threatened by then and simply focused on our companies vision and business model We are shocked in los angeles there is a long time operator running 4 home made sprinter vans with no a/c vents in the rear passenger area :) this is an example of what not to do... the issue is that customers using these vehicles will have a bad time and use social media to complaint about using a sprinter benz... not knowing they were not in a coach west or midwest or any QVM builder
