Although essentially an update of the 2018 MKX crossover, the 2019 Nautilus can brag of significant changes beyond its moniker, including a new look, a base engine and a eight-speed automatic, which replaces a six-speed.

Offered in base, Select, Reserve, and Black Label trims, each available with front- or all-wheel drive, Nautilus shares its 112.2-inch wheelbase and 190-inch overall shadow with MKX. Nonetheless, Nautilus covers those dimensions in unique duds that include new headlamps, hood, and fenders. And gone are MKX's wing-like grille sections, replaced by the gleaming rectangular-mesh aperture -- the New Face of Lincoln -- already gracing Continental and Navigator.
