HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — As of Jan. 1, Christina Nguyen has become the Vice President of Concierge Limousine, proving she's not your stereotypical millennial by strengthening and forging new relationships.

Her goals for the company in 2019 include increasing business by obtaining new accounts — not only in California, but in other states as well — and buying more vehicles. “We are more corporate based, so I am also looking into expanding the retail side of our business as well,” she said.

Formerly the director of operations and affiliate relations, she has been with the company for nine years. Her duties will include running the company by overseeing every aspect of operations, from affiliate work to accounting, maintenance, and more. She will be working directly beside company founder and President Dan Amado to help him achieve a better work-life balance.

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, along with a minor in psychology and business, she got her start at Concierge working as a reservationist/dispatch and quickly rose through the ranks to become the right-hand woman at the company. Well known for her aptitude at forming strong relationships with her affiliates and can-do attitude, she sees every challenge she comes across as a chance to sharpen her business sense.

Her biggest achievement at Concierge has been creating the company’s affiliate program. “We farm in and out runs every day now. My goal was to increase business by being able to provide car service to all of our clients wherever they travel, whether it’s local or worldwide. Almost all of our current clients are on board with this program, and I’ve been able to obtain business in areas we’re not physically located in on a daily basis.”

Amado said, “Christina started with us in 2011, and in that time she has continued to develop her skills in daily operations as well as promoting and representing the company. As VP, she will continue to manage our affiliate relationships as well as take on more companywide operation duties. We expect she will exceed our expectations as she has in all previous advancements.”

She has made it a point to dedicate herself to providing her clients with the best possible service and treats the business as if it were her own child. “I’ve nurtured it, I’m on call 24/7, and always happy to help my staff.” In 2019, she plans on hiring more office staff, as well as chauffeurs.

“I’ve worked smarter, not harder to get where I’m at. I’m not the type of Millennial that sits around and expects business to come along. I put myself out there and network to create real relationships. Nothing has been handed down to me. I’ve worked just about every position in the company, and if there’s one I haven’t, I put myself out there to learn so I’m able to take care of any and every situation that occurs as smoothly as possible. Concierge Limousine is here to stay, and will continue to grow into the future.”
