ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — While networking is a main purpose of luxury transportation tradeshows, none of it matters if you don’t know the proper way to figure out if another operator will properly represent your business.

California operator Tina Nguyen, director of customer and affiliate relations for Concierge Limousine in Huntington Beach, will be hosting a campfire session at LCT East on Monday, Nov. 5 from 1:30 pm to 2 p.m. called “How To Vet Affiliates” that will tackle this issue.

“In the short amount of time I’ve been doing affiliate work, my company has seen an increase of over 300%," she says. "I think being female and a millennial helps me bring a different kind of perspective to the discussion. If people are complaining about not being able to break into this form of extra income, they need to know they can accomplish anything with the right tools.”

If you attend her session, she believes you’ll walk away with knowledge you can apply to your company to bring in more affiliate work and revenue. “The best thing about it is you’ll be getting all this information at only the cost of a pass to LCT East. No matter where you are and/or how many times you’ve been to these shows, you always need to carry yourself how you would when you make a first impression.”

No matter if you’re a new operator or a veteran, she promises it will be educational. “I’m going to give people an honest opinion; I think outside of the box. I don’t conform to what people normally do, so you won’t be hearing things you’ve already heard. I’m going to try and give a different perspective you can learn and form strategies from.”
