Motorcoach sales rose by 7.3% in the second quarter compared to the same quarter last year, the American Bus Association Foundation reported Aug. 16.

Based on surveys of major bus builders, sales rose to 910 units (673 new coaches and 237 used coaches) in the second quarter 2018 versus 844 units (574 new coaches and 270 used coaches) in 2Q 2017.

The increase was led by strong new motorcoach sales. All sizes saw positive growth: 45-foot motorcoach sales increased by 15%; 40-45 foot motorcoach sales rose by 50%; and 30-40 foot motorcoach sales soared by 61%.
