A business can never stand still with technology; you always need to keep pace with it to ensure your business remains relevant, says operator Michael Lindsey, founder of DriverSchedule.com. HARTFORD, Conn. — DriverSchedule.com has built up a name in the last two years offering a new way fleet-based companies can manage employee availability and scheduling. It includes a complete back office HR Suite Solution for seamlessly managing all company employees.

Now, the technology vendor takes the next step by launching its app for both IOS and Android. “Giving customers an app to support the driver functions expands the versatility of the program and widens our appeal,” said CEO Michael Lindsey, also the owner of Hartford-based Lindsey Limousine, in a press release.

The Driver Schedule program was first developed for the chauffeured transportation and charter bus industries, but additional features have grown its client base to include companies that run or operate shuttles, gas and oil deliveries, auto dealerships, food deliveries, catering, appliance delivery, and electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services.

The new app allows drivers to see and manage their work schedules, clock in-and-out, apply for time-off, report vehicle issues, see uploaded documents, and send messages to individuals at the company.
