Will Ferrell Hospitalized, Released After Chauffeured SUV Crash

TMZ first reported Ferrell and two others were taken to the hospital. Video footage on TMZ showed Ferrell sitting upright on a stretcher and talking on a cell phone as he was being loaded into an ambulance.

Ferrell's representative told TMZ the actor did not suffer serious injuries and was released from the hospital on April 12.

He was one of three passengers in the SUV, which was reportedly returning from a "Funny or Die" event in San Diego, according to TMZ.

    Glad no one was hurt... tcp on video looked like 801. Musick express. From san diego to orange county if you have passengers you must be very aware of rear incoming speeding vehicles on the fast lane and tou must also watch for the mexican junk coach buses on the fast lane going 62mph
