LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The first-ever LCT Show branded under the Luxury Coach & Transportation banner lives up to its new name with a Pavilion and sessions devoted to running big buses.

Motorcoaches in recent years have multiplied on the LCT show floor pointing to an industry embracing the challenge and profitable advantages of running large group transportation.

This year’s four day event, from March 11-14, will feature a new and exclusive Motorcoach Pavilion that brings together a wide selection of luxury coaches redefining the traditional chauffeured ground transportation industry.

Exhibitors displaying the latest bus models at the Pavilion as of today include: Prevost, ABC Companies/Van Hool, Temsa, Irizar, MCI, Champion Bus, ENC, and Rev Commercial. The luxury transportation industry as served by LCT now offers the wideset selection and most manufacturers of motorcoaches to date. Many of the models offer a full range of luxury and high-tech amenities that match those of traditional chauffeured vehicles.

The Pavilion will be located along the length of one side of the 180,000 sq. ft. Bayside B convention hall. Attendees can tour the bus models during standard show floor hours March 12-14. The area will include a “Motorcoach Café” where showgoers can relax and socialize — and ponder which buses to buy.

The ILCT Show Motorcoach Pavilion expands on the success of the first-ever such industry venue held Nov. 5-7 during LCT-NLA Show East in Atlantic City, N.J. This experimental event arranged in the parking lot of Harrah’s Resort and Casino featured five motorcoaches from four major bus OEMs as an extension of the show floor inside.

A late afternoon reception on Nov. 6 featuring beer, pretzels, and snacks drew hundreds of attendees who boarded and toured the buses while mingling and networking under a tent at the center of the pavilion.

The ILCT Show’s educational program, produced by the National Limousine Association, will include two educational sessions focused on bus operations:

Your Guide to DOT Regulations & Compliance, Tuesday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.: Whether you just bought your first bus or have an extensive fleet, operating legally and safely should be your top priority.
