LOS ANGELES --- The Greater California Livery Association reported Jan. 18 that its holiday dinner and fundraiser on Dec. 5 produced revenue of $36,125 for the industry's largest state trade group.

As the California chauffeured vehicle industry fights its biggest regulatory battle to date, the GCLA emphasizes the need to unite as a strong association. To do so, it is vital to have the finances to influence regulatory outcomes on behalf of its members.

To host a successful fundraiser requires the participation of members, sponsors, and donors. The GCLA saw its holiday fundraiser attendance reach 204 people, a record high and an increase of 34 participants compared to the 2016 holiday party. Both events were held at the LAX Marriott in Los Angeles.

More than 200 attendees came to the GCLA holiday event and fundraiser on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at the LAX Marriott in Los Angeles.

The meeting drew upon the support of board members as well as Chosen Payments CEO Jeff Brodsly, the second vice president of the GCLA who with his staff organized and facilitated the event and fundraising.

GCLA also would like to thank table sponsors: Exclusive Sedan Service, API Global Transportation, SF Limo Express, O’Brien & Associates, Ecko Worldwide Transportation, Grech Motors, and Wave Payments.

All participants were given a complimentary gift bag that was made possible by iCars, Motev, Addison Lee, Ecko, My Fare, Chosen Payments, Brevard Executive Limousine, and SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, which also exhibited new livery models during the event.

The raffle tickets generated $780 and the lucky winners walked away with an iPad donated by Drive Profit and a flat screen TV donated by Chosen Payments.

The biggest contributions of the night came from auction purchasers. The GCLA thanks its big-time bidders Jeff Brodsly, Mike Campbell, Harry Dhillon, Robert Gaskill, and Matt Strack, who all dug deep into their pockets to support the association.
