The annual Greater California Livery Association’s lobbying event can lead to fewer regulations for charter party carriers.
The ride is organized by Driving For Change, LLC, a non-profit 501c-3 organization. This means your ride is tax deductible and benefits a great cause! Driving For Change is managed by five well recognized names from the limo industry including Lynda Saitta, president (Momentum Drives); Ron Stein, vice-president (Exclusive Sedan); Michael Callahan, treasurer (Able Limousine); David Eckstein (Valera Global); and Sarah McKee (Chosen Payments).
The 2017 ride was sponsored by limo industry operators, vendors, associations, and magazines. $30,000 was raised, an amount that doubled the earnings of the inaugural run in 2015 to Valley of Fire. Much of the success is attributed to our sponsors.
The success of the 2018 ride will rely on the generosity of industry members. Sponsorships range from $500 to $5000, but donations of any amount are accepted to benefit the Semper Fi Fund. Additionally, volunteers are needed to help with the event. You do not need to ride to be a volunteer.
