New York Increasing Motorcoach Inspections

Posted on November 22, 2017

The New York Governor’s Office has started a multi-agency enforcement plan to target potentially illegal interstate and charter and tour bus companies operating in the state.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has directed the State Department of Transportation, Department of Motor Vehicles, and New York State Police to increase the number of random roadside inspections of interstate charter and tour buses to protect travelers.

Good news I would start with checking the age of the tires and origin of country manufactured Followed by starting the vehicle and letting it idle as long as the inspection lasts..this will help check a/c condition since most party bus deaths are probably related to no a/c and passengers messing with the windows
