Premier Transportation Opens New Facility In Style

DALLAS, Texas — When Eric Devlin, owner of Premier Transportation Services moved into a new building this past August, he immediately began dreaming about a grand celebration to commemorate the opening of the new facility.

Devlin achieved that dream with the help of his longtime client, Access Destination Services, who managed its open house Nov. 15 featuring gourmet appetizers, an open bar, ongoing facility tours, and creative signs identifying Premier’s 20 key personnel and what they do. Signs also highlighted what each room was used for and other information about the operations.

Premier took ownership of the 45,000 square foot facility in August. The property is set on 2.15 acres  and was bought to handle the company's rapid growth well into the future. It previously served as a facility for a stainless steel manufacturing company and needed little work, said Cory Witzel, accounting manager for Premier. “We added the executive wing, where Eric’s office is located, and a server room, and everything else was as-is."

The two-story building includes executive administrative offices, a chauffeur's lounge, dispatch office, sales and marketing department office, multiple conference rooms, and lots of storage areas for marketing supplies, ice chests, and car seats, among other items. The office is appointed with artwork, plush leather couches, and years of memorabilia collected by Devlin.

About 150 invited guests attended the open house celebration. Guests included Ed Grech and AJ Thurber from Grech Motors as well as Rob Lesser and Eric Knox with MCI Coach who provide vehicles to Premier. In addition to local clients in the Dallas area, members of the ground transportation industry came from around the country to participate including Kelly Alderete (The Driver Provider), Robert Alexander (RMA Worldwide), Bill Faeth (Limo University), Alan Candeub (Park Avenue), David Monsey (Avalon Executive), Todd Roberts and Nick Lopez (JACO Limousine), Ryan Hilberth (Rental Limo), and Jim Luff representing LCT and Chosen Payments.

Devlin was accompanied by his wife Dee and son Cole as he proudly gave a speech and welcomed people to his new facility while giving credit to all those who helped him succeed since he opened Premier in 1996. The Devlins later hosted a private dinner for about 50 employees, affiliates, and business partners such as DMCs the company works with.
