ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — The chauffeured transportation industry is constantly evolving, and many an operator has realized it by now. The People's Choice Awards, which will be celebrated Nov. 6 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at LCT East, provide you with a chance to recognize one of your peers who has stepped up to this challenge with the Innovation Award.

Two past winners include Michael Lindsey of Lindsey Limousine in Hartford, Conn. (2013) and Art Rento of Pontarelli Companies in Chicago, Ill. (2016). Lindsey has developed several web-based software products that have been adopted as standards within the chauffeured transportation industry, including — an online affiliate connectivity and sharing portal which he provides at no cost to the industry; – an online customer feedback program that compares each company’s results against the industry; and — an online program to efficiently manage employee schedules.

With Rento's fresh and unique perspective, he has strived to keep Pontarelli on the cutting edge of technology, creative strategy, outside-the-box thinking, and networking. From his humble beginnings in this business, he has helped build an innovative, cultured enterprise that services any city in the world. An innovative and progressive minded techy way before tech and progressive thinking was cool, he takes pride in the power of technology and implementing the right strategies and tools to work more efficiently and cost effectively.

The other four awards, Limo Entrepreneur of the Year, Carla Boroday Humanitarian Award, Leadership Award, and the Gold Star Award, will also be awaiting operators who have been nominated for their industry achievements.

You only have until Oct. 10 to apply yourself or nominate someone else...DO NOT WAIT! Click here to get started.
