New telematics, battery electric technology, and new generation D-series coaches push the busmaker into a new era.
At 176 vehicles, Pure Luxury, owned by National Limousine Association president Gary Buffo, is one of the largest chauffeured transportation companies in the state. The company ranks No. 15 on the 2016 LCT 50 Largest Fleets List. The company runs 46 sedans, including the Lincoln MKS.
"We actually ordered 15 Lincoln Continentals, on the show floor at the 2016 International LCT Show," Buffo told LCT. "As soon as Ford removed the cover, I knew immediately that's what our passengers would want to ride in. We've been operating the few we received over a month ago, and we've had an overwhelmingly positive response from our clients. They love the rear reclining seat, the passenger's full ability to control the entire vehicle while not having to bug the chauffeur, and the quietness while riding in it. I believe this is the safest vehicle in our fleet for our chauffeurs to drive. Ford Motor Company truly hit a grand slam on this vehicle."
For 25 years, Pure Luxury Transportation has provided corporate transportation, luxury commuter motorcoaches, and bus and limousine wine tours across a wide region including Sonoma, Napa Valley, Marin County, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. The fleet includes sedans, SUVs, vans, minibuses, and Prevost motorcoaches.
