SNL Spoofs Mercedes-Benz With AA-Battery Powered Vehicle

A fake Mercedes-Benz ad was one of the few standout sketches from this past weekend's Saturday Night Live. Julia Louis-Dreyfus' star power and some high-end commercial cinematography sell the two-minute parody as a real commercial — until the actress reveals the vehicle is powered by 9,648 AA batteries.
How did the automaker take it, you ask?
