Uber Appears To Be Lowballing Rider Sexual Assault Stats

How many women were raped as a result of Uber rides between December 2012 and August 2015: five or 5,827?

Those numbers aren’t even in the same ballpark, but a March 6 BuzzFeed article has left users of transportation network company app trying to make sense of the gulf between them.

    Things like this can happen to a lady when hitchhiking because that's all Uber is hitchhiking a ride just using your cell phone and not your thumb. Im sure there are a lot of criminal type stats Uber hides so as not to scare off it's investors or rides, with all the money they have bad stuff can be made to stay out of the public eye well hidden.
