Avoid This: Vladimir Putin's Prototype Stretch Limo Available

Posted on February 16, 2016

Listed for sale on Hemmings, the vehicle's classified ad details some luxurious amenities.

Not much is known about this prototype. It was produced by ZiL, a major Russian auto and truck maker known for supplying ultra-premium custom vehicles to VIPs in both the Soviet and Russian governments. A report from 2012 says the six-door ZiL 4112R took six-and-a-half years to build, and the Hemmings listing says it sports a 7.7 liter V8 engine making 400 horsepower driving a 5-speed Allison 1000 transmission. "Front suspension: independent / Rear suspension: dependent," the ad claims.
