CREWE, England — Bentley, like many of its rivals, posted record sales results for 2013. The British marque managed to sell 10,120 units during the past year, which was up 19 percent on the 8,510 it sold in 2012 and finally enough to eclipse the previous record of 10,014 units sold in 2008, just prior to the financial crisis.
At the same time, Bentley also expanded the number of its dealerships worldwide. The global sales network in 2013 increased by 11 percent, to 193 showrooms.
Bentley’s number one market throughout 2013 was the Americas (no breakdown for individual countries is given), finishing the year with 3,140 units sold, a staggering increase of 28 percent on the 2,457 units sold in 2012.
