COMMERCE CITY, Col. -- National Limousine Association President Gary Buffo will be the featured speaker Nov. 19 at a meeting of the Colorado Limousine Association, where he will update members on NLA efforts and plans while strengthening ties between the two industry groups.

In his first year as NLA President, Buffo has put a priority on listening to the issues and concerns of limousine operators nationwide and find ways the NLA and partner associations can help address them. His presentation will outline how the successes and achievements of the NLA directly benefit members as well as improve the fortunes of the chauffeured transportation industry overall. Buffo, elected in February, already is leading the organization through some of the greatest challenges to the limousine industry in recent years, such as federal labor and transportation rules, Obamacare implementation and stretch limousine safety. Buffo also is owner of Pure Luxury Transportation in Petaluma, Calif.

"In today's business climate, it truly takes large numbers working in conjunction with regional associations and our national association, in order to keep our industry operating at a profitable level," Buffo told LCT.  "It's an honor to be invited to discuss our national and regional partnership, and I hope to provide positive information the Colorado Limousine Association members can use in their association and in their businesses."

The meeting will be held at 4 p.m., Nov. 19 at Charlotte's Web Restaurant, 5271 E 52nd Ave., Commerce City, CO, 80022; (303) 287-7544. Info: www.cololimo.org.
