LCT Names Tom Halligan As LCT East Coast Editor

Posted on October 4, 2013

TORRANCE, Calif. — LCT Magazine is proud to announce the appointment of Tom Halligan as LCT’s new east coast editor. Halligan has an extensive background in journalism and specifically B2B media. He has worked for leading media companies and custom content publishers, including Ziff Davis, Penton Media, Thomas Publishing, The Magazine Group, GLC, Knight Ridder, and Tribune Publishing.

“I’m excited about working with LCT,” says Halligan, “and looking forward to covering the east coast for the magazine.” Halligan is familiar with the industry, having been the former editor in chief of Limo Digest, and as an east coast native he has a home-grown knowledge and insight into the area.

LCT publisher Sara Eastwood-McLean said of Halligan coming on board, “On behalf of my entire team at LCT and the NLA, I am over the moon to announce the hire of Tom Halligan, who will represent us on the east coast. Tom is a ‘Jersey Boy’ born and bred and has shown in the short time working with our competitor that he connects well with our industry.  Tom also has a wealth of writing experience in trade print and e-media.  He is a self-proclaimed ‘gear head’ who loves all things relating to cars so getting out and spending time with our advertisers should be a treat for him.”

Halligan has been at the forefront of launching and delivering custom branded marketing content in all media forms, and has won numerous publishing and custom content awards. He starts on Monday, Oct. 7th, and is looking forward to meeting everyone at LCT East, Oct. 27-29.
