LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel and his wife, Bobbi, have purchased a Little Rock limousine service, McDaniel told Arkansas Business.

The McDaniels purchased 100 percent of the membership in Argenta Limo LLC dba Argenta Transportation Specialists and its assets from David Bratton.

The terms of the deal are confidential, McDaniel said.

The business will continue to be managed by Kathy Baker, who has been operations manager for the past four years, McDaniel said.

"Bobbi and I are grateful that she has agreed to stay on," he said.

McDaniel said he is now "aggressively looking for a location" for a new office building for the company. The real estate will likely be owned and managed by another of McDaniel's businesses, McDaniel Management Co., which buys and sells apartments and also offers consulting services.

The assets purchased include seven vehicles, although the company has access to more, McDaniel said. He said he and his wife hope to grow the business by expanding its airport service and by offering transportation to charitable events that include a donation to the charity.
