SUSSEX, U.K. — As reported by TheChauffeur.com, Jaguar Land Rover has announced plans to penetrate deeper into the U.K. chauffeured car market. The automaker also said it would invest in a state-of-the-art engine facility that would develop and manufacture a new line of low-emission four-cylinder gas and diesel engines. The facility also will be responsible for investment in aluminum technology for Jaguar XJ and Range Rover models.

Paul Brittan, corporate field team manager for Jaguar sales, told TheChauffeur.com, “As 2013 progresses, we have plans to increase awareness of the Jaguar XJ luxury saloon amongst chauffeurs and professional drivers via the Jaguar Chauffeur Programme.”

LCT contacted Brittan to comment on any potential plans for a U.S. / North American Jaguar livery program, but did not receive a response in time for LCT E-News distribution. We will update this story when we do.
