Jackson Limousine Marks 30th Annual Los Angeles Turkey Giveaway

Posted on November 20, 2012

SOUTH LOS ANGELES -- Hundreds of families in need are lining up in South Los Angeles on Tuesday for Jackson Limousine's annual Turkey Giveaway.

Local families lined up with the elderly for the event, which kicked off at 8 a.m. and is expected to supply between 5,000-7,000 turkeys for the community.

But the 30-year Los Angeles tradition almost didn't make it to 2012 after donations were critically low across the Southland. Despite that, Jackson Limousine managed to keep their event alive and stomachs full this year.
