Man Charged In Chauffeur’s Death

CALGARY, Alberta — Calgary’s CBC News reported that 20-year old Jacob Mitzimberg is facing one charged of impaired driving causing death and one charge of dangerous driving causing death.

Authorities allege Mitzimberg was drunk and high on drugs when his truck struck a limousine along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, killing chauffeur Shafiqur Rahman, 54, on Jan. 28, 2012. Rahman had been with Vancouver-based Aerocar Service for 10 years.

Mitzimberg is scheduled to appear in court in North Vancouver on Dec. 5 to face the charges.
