SAN DIEGO, Calif. — BusinessReviewUsa.com reports that BMW has topped the third annual Global RepTrak 100, a global reputation study of more than 100,000 consumers to determine how stakeholders perceive companies and how those perceptions influence purchases. The list was composed by Reputation Institute, a reputation-consultancy firm.
BMW, Sony and the Walt Disney Company took the top three spots. The top 10 is as follows:

2. Sony
3. Walt Disney Company
4. Daimler
5. Apple
6. Google
7. Microsoft
8. Volkswagen
9. Canon
10. LEGO Group
The study also revealed that a company’s reputation is directly connected to a consumer’s drive to recommend it to others.
