Limo Operator Of The Year Launches Mobile App

NORWALK, Conn. — Teddy’s Transportation System Inc., a 2012 LCT Operator of the Year Award winner, recently became the first Connecticut limo service to offer a mobile app for chauffeured travel management.

The app is available for free in English or Spanish and works for both Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and Android systems. Teddy’s Limo app features a reservation function that allows clients to select their preferred vehicles for airport transfers, point-to-point trips or hourly reservations. The app also offers an extensive list of the world’s airports and airlines for easy selection and accuracy.

When clients book a one-way reservation, they will be asked if a return trip is desired. Automatic notifications will advise the client that the request has been received. A reminder confirmation email will be sent five hours before pickup. If a meeting runs long or plans change en-route, clients can push a “Late” button to notify a Teddy’s dispatcher that they’re running behind schedule and ask to have their vehicles on standby for a predetermined amount of time. When clients are ready for pickup at the airport or a busy in-town location, they simply press the “Ready” button and a Teddy’s dispatcher will notify the chauffeur and send vehicle information to the client.

The “My Reservations” tab allows clients to check or cancel a reservation requested via the app at any time. Clients also can populate their mobile app profiles with multiple addresses or as many passenger names as they require. If the client needs to speak directly with a trained customer service rep in Connecticut, a click on Teddy’s phone number will dial it instantly.

The app also includes a description of each of the vehicles in Teddy’s fleet and basic information about the company. The app was created by Brand New App Inc. and can be downloaded at the following links:
