DETROIT — In fall 2011, Ford and Lincoln challenged the senior studio class at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit to design a 2025 Lincoln with seating for four or more. CCS classes often collaborate with carmakers on design projects to provide real-world experience for students. The relationship is mutually beneficial because automakers get to scope out top talent and garner inspiration.

At the end of the semester, the school selected four of the top concepts to exhibit at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
