The Next Trend In Prom Transportation

NEW YORK — The Wall Street Journal reports that a group of students in Racine, Wis. have chosen to arrive at their prom in a red vintage firetruck instead of a “predictable black limousine.”

A student in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, borrowed a replica “General Lee” car from The Dukes of Hazzard to take his date to spring formal.

In Toronto, prom goers are renting hand-pulled rickshaws.  

And in Newport Beach, Calif., a military vehicle rental company has seen requests from people who want to take a tank to prom.
