Used Lincoln Navigator Is Large And In Charge
Vehicle Pick of the Week: This SUV is perfect for making multiple trips to the airport during this busy holiday season.
ACTON, Mass. — In a scene being repeated at Lincoln livery dealerships nationwide, sellers of the 2013 Lincoln MKT Town Car are making sure operators get familiar with all the new gadgets and gizmos aboard the new luxury vehicle.
Bill Cunningham, general manager of Acton Fleet Sales, demonstrated the new luxury crossover vehicle on April 6 for drivers picking up five of them on behalf of Premier Limousine of Berlin, Conn. Owner Steve DiMarco had placed a large order for the MKTs with Acton.
DiMarco bought at least 60 Lincoln Town Car sedans from Acton last year, and is now in the process of gradually flipping them to MKT Town Cars, Cunningham told LCT Magazine.
“This delivery was cool because we had to keep everyone’s attention on what we were explaining,” Cunningham said. “It was like kids in a candy shop. There were just so many new and cool things to look at. It was a lot of fun. It's always a nice feeling when your client knows you’re going above and beyond. Sometimes, it's just a little effort that takes a good experience and turns it into a great one.”
Lincoln features its signature SYNC technology suite on the MKT Town Car and other models made by longtime luxury vehicle manufacturer.
Acton Fleet Sales owner Coleman Hoyt shot some video clips and took a set of photos of Cunningham and sales manager Bob Moody showing the vehicles to Premier employees.
