Virginia Operation Adds Lincoln MKT Town Cars

RICHMOND, Va. – James River Transportation recently upgraded its fleet by purchasing two Lincoln MKT Town Cars, replacing their Lincoln Town Car Executive L sedans.

These vehicles have extended legroom for added passenger comfort and are dispatched through the use of onboard tablets. Other vehicle features include: GPS tracking systems, video event recorders, and back-up cameras.

The company installed GPS tracking systems have the following features: Online tracking showing current location and vehicle speed; automatic alerts if a vehicle exceeds the posted speed limit; and vehicle trip history to show exact routes and times.

James River Transportation, owned by operator Stephen Story, is a full service transportation provider and event planning organization with facilities in Richmond, Williamsburg and Norfolk. The company also has onsite operations at Richmond International Airport and Norfolk International Airport. Services include motorcoach and minicoach transportation, airport transfers, transportation management, contract services, and convention shuttles.

    I cannot believe Lincoln actually puts the words "Town Car" on that thing. What an insult to the great Town Car! The MKT is by far the ugliest vehicle on the road...hands down the ugliest!! I'd spend the extra and get the Caddy XTS. Get them now though before GM gets rid of those too. What's Lincoln thinkin? That should be their motto.
