Posted on January 24, 2012

LONDON — Air Berlin launched service between Berlin and Abu Dhabi on Jan. 15 and will offer complimentary limousine service for business class flights traveling the new route. Air Berlin now operates four non-stop flights per week between the two cities on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The launch also marks the start of a codeshare agreement between Air Berlin and Etihad Airways.

Business class passengers within 40 km of Berlin-Tegel airport can book the limo service through a dedicated hotline up to 24 hours before departure. Once they arrive in Abu Dhabi, they have the option to be driven to any destination in the United Arab Emirates. The service is also available for the return trip, and to business class passengers on codeshare connections with Etihad Airways from Germany to Abu Dhabi. At Frankfurt and Munch, the limo service is available within 40 km of the airport, and within 60 km from the Dusseldorf airport.
