HARTFORD, Conn. — RateButler.com, an online affiliate network management tool, has topped more than 515 users, with over 8,500 relationships, and manages thousands of rates. Since the new version was announced and launched in February 201, the site’s membership has grown more than 35%.

“RateButler.com is revolutionizing the way limousine companies send business to one another,” said Michael Lindsey, the product’s creator. “And when it’s free, how can you not try it?”

RateButler.com was launched in February 2009 as a way to solve the age-old problem of obtaining and managing the rates of other companies for your farm-out affiliate network. It also makes it easier for other companies to do business with an operation so companies can maximize their farm-in business in their local markets.

“I receive countless requests each year to fill out “an affiliate profile”, and everyone is asking for the same information,” said Lindsey, owner of Lindsey Limousine and a 2010 LCT Operator of the Year. “With RateButler.com, I simply fill out the information once, and then with a “click,” I share it with others and continue running my business.”

RateButler.com is secure. Only those companies that you want to “share” your information with can see it. “It is actually more secure than filling out a spreadsheet or Word document and sending it through the Internet,” Lindsey said. “You can change your rates at any time and instantly your affiliates will know about it.” No more misquotes that eat into profits.

Companies simply fill out “an affiliate profile” one time, and then share it with only those companies they want to. “It’s like FaceBook, but for the limousine industry, and the difference is that no other company can see your “friends” or who you are sharing your information with,” Lindsey said. “It eliminates the need to house and maintain other companies’ rates on your system, only to learn the rate is out-dated after you take the reservation.”

RateButler.com eliminates the need to place a customer on hold and call an affiliate for a rate, it will always deliver the most accurate and up-to-date rates, and will even track the Certificates of Insurance for those companies to whom an operator sends work to.

“At this point, with well over 500 companies using the site to manage their affiliate network, it’s safe to say that every major market and the vast majority of secondary markets are represented on the site,” Lindsey said. “If you’re not using Rate Butler, chances are your competition is.”
