BMW 7 Series Limousines Are Good Enough For Nobel Prize Winners

Posted on December 9, 2011

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Nobel Prize Laureates and their families were chauffeured by 12 black long-wheelbase BMW 7 series luxury sedans by Freys Hyrverk, the limousine company that has been serving the Nobel Foundation since 1901.

The Award Ceremony took place on Dec. 10 at the Stockholm Concert Hall, where His Majesty the King of Sweden handed each Laureate a diploma and a medal. Following the ceremony was a banquet at the Stockholm City Hall for about 1,300 people.

Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been honoring men and women from around the world for outstanding achievements in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and for work in peace.

BMW will be exhibiting for the first time ever at the 2012 International LCT Show in Las Vegas on Feb. 13-15, 2012. No details as to what vehicles or livery packages the German luxury carmaker will unveil, but chances are the 7-series will make an appearance.
