Cadillac XTS Sedan Exposed In Accidental Unveiling

Posted on November 10, 2011

As expected, the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept Car, first unveiled in January 2010, has morphed into the 2013 Cadillac XTS sedan. A retail version will be officially unveiled on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show. A livery version of the XTS with boosted amenities and engine/drivetrain specs won't be unveiled until Feb. 13 at the 2012 International LCT Show in Las Vegas.

The Platinum Concept for the most part limned the future XTS sedan, so there are no big surprises overall. Of particular curiosity to the chauffeured transportation industry, however, will be the price, fuel mileage, leg and luggage room, and transmission durability of the XTS livery sedan. More to come in future editions of LCT Magazine. -- Martin Romjue, LCT editor.
