Cadillac recently announced the Cadillac User Experience (CUE), a next-generation, Linux-based entertainment system that takes several cues from smartphones and browsers, including apps.

CUE will debut in 2012 in the Cadillac XTS and ATS luxury sedans and SRX luxury crossover, Cadillac said. Notably, the system made its debut at the CTIA telecommunications show in San Diego, where carriers are working to add connectivity to many devices.

Cadillac will debut its XTS livery version on Feb. 13, 2012 at the 2012 International LCT Show in Las Vegas.
