To the Editor:
Global Ground Automation (GGA) recently added hired-chauffeur content to our ground transportation marketplace, fulfilling a request made by our larger corporate customers to provide alternative private driver options. Several members of the chauffeured transportation industry reacted strongly to this announcement — as many state and local NLA associations have cited regulatory uncertainty around this content. At GGA, we take regulatory concerns seriously. After careful consideration, GGA has decided to withdraw hired-chauffeur offerings at this time.
We’ve always worked to build a ground transportation marketplace that is vendor agnostic, allowing us to serve the needs of multiple constituents. Bottom line, the long-term satisfaction of our customers and partners is our primary objective.
Gregg Tuccillo, President, GGA
