Texas Operator Makes Big Moves

Posted on July 5, 2011

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-based R&R Limousine & Bus has acquired A-1 Limousine of Austin for an undisclosed amount, the company announced in May.

R&R said the deal is expected to increase its revenue 30 percent this year.

The company provides transportation services in sedans, limousines, SUVs, mini buses, motor coaches and party buses. It operates a total 40 vehicles.

A-1 is owned and operated out of San Antonio and will maintain business there.

R&R Limousine and Bus also has purchased 6.5 acres on Highway 183 across from the airport.

The company will use the space for its new headquarters. It is located at 2500 S. Highway 183.

Officials said they chose the lot because of its proximity to the future Formula One and Circuit of Americas facility, as well as the airport.

The company said the added space will also better accommodate its recently expanded fleet of 45 sedans, limos, SUVs, mini buses, motor coaches and party buses.

Work on the new headquarters will begin this fall.

Paul Arcediano founded R&R in 2004 as Rockin' Ride.
