Client Who Fell Out of Limo Bus Sues Operator

Posted on June 10, 2011

WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- A 19-year-old Winnipeg man wants charges laid against a limousine company after he fell out of their vehicle and was run over.

Steve Tapley was in a limo-bus with friends in September 2010 when the vehicle took a turn at Portage Avenue and Moray Street. The door Tapley was leaning on opened and when he fell onto the road, the limo ran over his right leg.

"I was very very scared; hurting and scared. I couldn't move my legs when I was lying there," he said. "Definitely, the thought of being crippled and paralyzed were in my head the whole time."
