COSTA MESA, Calif. -- If all the limousine industry trade shows and events could be compared to a TV series, the 11th annual Greater California Livery Association Expo in September would be the networking premiere of the 2015-16 season that stretches into the following May.

The largest "trade show outside of a trade show" gathering commences Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Turnip Rose Promenade & Gardens, 1570 Scenic Ave., Costa Mesa. As always, the expo draws the highest number of vehicles, exhibits and attendees outside of an industry trade show as it historically attracts attendees from well beyond the West Coast.

Organizers estimate that more than 20 exhibitors and 50-plus chauffeured vehicles and buses are registered for the event. Past expos have drawn up to 300 attendees and vendor members.

The outdoor garden event provides plenty of room and scenarios for productive networking.

Leading keynote speakers will be: Mike Fogarty, President of the Taxi Limousine & Paratransit Association and CEO of TriStar Worldwide in Boston, and David Seelinger, Chairman and CEO of Empire CLS Worldwide, based in Secaucus, N.J. A long line-up of vendor speakers will detail some of the latest products, services and trade shows offered to the industry.

Attendees can mingle throughout the 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. event in a continuous flow among vehicle exhibits, vendor displays, food and beverage stations, and dining tables.
