Can Manhattan Office Take Cadillac Worldwide?

“New York isn’t where American trends begin; this is where global trends begin.”

That is CEO Johan de Nysschen explaining to the New York Times his reasoning behind moving Cadillac headquarters from Detroit where it has been for over a century to New York City. De Nysschen is something of a globalist himself; he was born in South Africa, worked for Infiniti and headed Audi. It is what he did at Audi that GM’s brass want him to do for Cadillac.
