Ford Issues Minor Safety Recall On 2015 Lincoln MKT Livery Model

Posted on July 29, 2015

DEARBORN, Mich. – Ford Motor Company is issuing a safety compliance recall for 91 2015-model year Lincoln MKT livery vehicles in the U.S. for an issue with the seating configuration.

In these vehicles, the installed placard does not agree with the seating configuration, which is a compliance issue with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 110. Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries associated with this issue.

Affected vehicles include certain 2015 Lincoln MKT livery vehicles built at Oakville Assembly Plant, Feb. 9, 2015 through June 4, 2015.

All 91 vehicles included in this recall are in the United States. Dealers will inspect the vehicles and install any missing components prior to delivery, at no cost to the customer.
