Posted on July 24, 2015

Remember last June when a Newport Beach teen somehow escaped serious injury after she fell out of the window of an unlicensed prom bus and onto the 73 toll road?

Now a court date has been set Aug. 6 in a case involving the prom bus operator, Leon Party Bus.

I believe he will be be sentenced to 6 months in jail. They are going to send a message to all these illegal operators. This teen is very lucky to be alive..... this situation has claimed the lives of other party bus customers. The common issue with party bus accidents and deaths (24 victims) is old buses that should not be allowed to carry passengers that are paying top dollar. I dont think the st louis old school buses are vharging 3,600 for 8 hrs since they are old buses. These customers in los angeles are getting new party buses and the unlucky ones are paying for new party buses but getting these old dangerous buses on the day of their event.
