New York TLC Approves New Rules For App-Based Services

NEW YORK — New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission has accepted new rules governing app-based ride-hailing services.


The commission initially required companies such as Uber and Lyft to submit any proposed app changes for its approval. The providers said that would have stifled innovation.
