Legal Obstacles Mount Against Uber

As Uber continues to grow toward a $50 billion or more valuation, it still faces legal challenges around the world.

Is the ride-hailing company a tech platform or transportation company? And are its drivers independent contractors or employees? Distinctions like these determine how companies are treated under the law, and the answers for Uber are still hazy.

    5/13/15 Uber is experiencing serious problems with it's software that is causing an uproar in the nation. Drivers everywhere are not going to be paid for completed trips due to this software issue.
