Uber Broadens Its Appeal To Third-Party Apps

When Uber recently announced the release of its Request API, the world saw a disruptor make a copybook example of disrupting further.

For those not in the know, an API (or application programming interface) is essentially a piece of code that allows third party developers to integrate all or part of an application into their applications. APIs are an incredibly important part of delivering the “new economy.”
