Florida Regulators Say Uber Insurance Policy Meets The Law

Florida’s insurance regulators have determined that Uber's automobile commercial liability policy meets state regulations, but legislative action is likely necessary to clarify whether that entitles the company to legally operate in the state.

    If what is said to be true, that "Rideshare Insurance Policies" are good, then these same policies should be available to ANYBODY in the transportation industry for vehicles up to 14 passengers, to be covered in the same way. Our Government Agencies needs to apply ONE rule for all types of FOR-HIRE VEHICLES the same way.
