The lady mechanic was my hero, she has her mind on her work, she never broke sride for an instant, not even when she was favored with thousands of dollars. She comes across as a person who has more going on than she lets on and I wish her the best. Mr Seelinger seems like a good guy, but we all know what place they finish in. No matter what else any one might think of Charlie Horky, we were the standard every one else strived to attain, and he set that standard. I for one thrived in that discipline. For all the times I failed to perform it, I got back in there to try yet again. Without the tv cameras and extravagent gifts, a mans best reward still being a job well done.
